Weighing just 830 g minimum and under 950 g fully equipped, the Piuma 1 delivers exceptional weather resistance and liveability in a fast-and-light package.
Built from 20D silicone-coated ripstop nylon (fly) and 30D silicone-coated ripstop nylon (floor), the Piuma 1 offers outstanding 2000 mm fly waterproofing and a 3000 mm floor rating for wet or uneven Australian terrain. Reinforced floor corners provide durability without needing a separate groundsheet unless extra protection is desired. The 7001 T6 aluminium poles give the tent excellent strength-to-weight performance, while the tunnel structure maximises usable space.
A well-designed vestibule, a breathable mosquito-net inner, front and rear ventilation sleeves, and a clever zippered head-end access point allow you to reach the narrow front section of the vestibule without opening the main door.
